Telegram launched a number of new features. In particular, you can now send voice and video messages in the messenger, which can only be played once.
The one-time view setting, already available for photos and videos, is now available for voice and video messages. After playback, the message is automatically deleted.
To create a disappearing video or voice message, tap the microphone or camera icon, start recording as usual, then swipe up. Then a new “view once” icon will be available. In addition, Telegram is rolling out the ability to pause and resume recording voice and video messages through the same menu.
Telegram also adds the ability to see when a recipient is reading a message in face-to-face chats. And subscription owners can now hide the time when they read a message and choose who can write to them (“Everyone” or “My contacts and premium users”).
