The company HMD Global, which currently produces smartphones under the Nokia brand, announced the stylish clamshell The Boring Phone with a transparent body and a classic “snake”.
In fact, it's a phone made for digital detox. It does not have standard applications, browsers, e-mail and everything else that users of modern smartphones are used to.
Boring Phone features are modest. Two screens are installed: an internal 2.8-inch one with QVGA resolution and a 1.77-inch external one. There is one 0.3 MP camera, a 1450 mAh battery, radio and 4G support. A USB-C port is used for charging, and a 3.5 mm jack for audio.
Unfortunately, you won't be able to buy such a phone: it will be given away as a prize in various promotions on social networks. A total of 5,000 such “boring” phones will be released.
