CloudAvocado, a startup optimizing funds in the cloud infrastructure, founded by Ukrainians Andrii Pishchuk and Oleksandr Tolochk, has raised $50,000 from the venture capital firm ZAS Ventures. The parties to the agreement spoke about this, but at the same time they refrained from disclosing the current assessment of the project.
Raised funds will be used to strengthen Business Development and the marketing component of the company. The investor will act as a consultant on these issues.
CloudAvocado develops a product to optimize cloud costs on AWS and provides real-time analytics and reports on cloud infrastructure costs. The service also provides advice on reducing the negative impact on the environment by optimizing the use of cloud resources.
The project was officially launched in 2021 in Lviv, and now its team consists of seven people. They are not currently looking for additional funding, but will return to this issue in the future.
This is the second investment from ZAS Ventures with a $50,000 check — before that, the venture capital firm invested in Ukrainian startup Fintellect, which develops a financial application for businesses.
About ZAS Ventures
