Ukrainian venture fund U.Ventures invested in Cloudprinter, a Dutch company that develops Print API for Web2Print providers and has an office in Lviv. Cloudprinter announced this in a press release. Neither the company nor the investors announced the exact amount of the funding.
Cloudprinter was founded in 2016 by the Dutchman Martijn Eyer. The company develops Print API for Web2Print providers, e-commerce solutions, enterprises and publishers worldwide. Now the company is building a global network of more than 170 partners. The company is headquartered in the Netherlands, Denmark and Lviv, where most of its nearly 50-strong workforce is based, according to LinkedIn. During the round, Cloudprinter attracted a wide range of investors, including active shareholders such as Dutch family office Brabant Development Company. Among the shareholders was the U.Ventures fund, which joined the round as a new investor from Ukraine.
“We are incredibly excited to invest in Cloudprinter. In our opinion, they have the potential to become one of the first global unicorns to come out of Ukraine, especially in the difficult period after the full-scale Russian invasion and war. Their innovative approach to high-speed printing solutions aligns perfectly with our mission to fuel economic growth and technological advancement.”
Andriy Sorokhan, venture director of U.Ventures, said.
