The “LUN” map with providers that will be able to provide Ukrainians with communication during blackouts has been expanded for all of Ukraine. This was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov in his Telegram channel.
Previously, it was available only for Kyiv, Kyiv, Lviv and Odesa regions. Currently, all providers of the country can apply, which will be able to guarantee the Internet from 4 to 72 hours after a power outage. To do this, you need to write to [email protected] with the subject of the letter “Resistant Ukraine”.
Users of the map are encouraged to leave feedback on whether the providers really keep their promises.
“One of the most efficient and sustainable fiber optic technologies is xPON. It can provide you with stable Internet access for the longest time. If you want to have Internet during blackouts, I advise you to choose a provider that uses fiber optic technology. We must be flexible and ready for anything,” Fedorov wrote.
