Leaders of Ukrainian IT companies Revolut, GitLab and SoftServe topped the ranking by the highest turnover rates in 2023. The basis was also the results of the foreign divisions of the thirty enterprises included in the list and the total number of employees. Their leaders are professional businessmen who are citizens of Ukraine and work within our state and beyond.
The specified rating was compiled by NV journalists based on YouControl data on some owners and financial statements submitted in 2023, and on information on acquisitions of foreign divisions from Concorde Capital. So, the three leaders were led by Vlad Yatsenko from Revolut, Dmytro Zaporozhets from GitLab, as well as Taras Kytsmei, Yaroslav Lyubinets, Yuriy Vasylyk, Taras Vervega, Oleg Denys and Igor Mendzebrovskyi from SoftServe.
The top ten also included:
Ilya Vynogradskyi, Roman Martynenko and Igor Horin from Astound; Oleksiy Skrypnyk Sr. from Eleks; Oleksandr Konotopskyi from Ajax Systems; Viktoria Livshits from Grid Dynamics; Andriy Pavlov and Andriy Kosarev from N-iX; Nataliya Anyon from Svitla; Andriy Ivanov and Oleksandr Strozhemin from Trinetix.
As the publication notes, the shares of co-owners of many companies are not disclosed, as they are protected by NDA (Non-disclosure agreement, or confidentiality agreements). The editors also assume that the financial data given in the rating may not correspond 100% to the real indicators of the companies. In particular, this applies to the difference between the number of employees between market data and information from financial reports.
“The editors assume that not all the financial data listed in the rating correspond 100% to the real indicators of the companies, because their owners have dozens of related legal entities in Ukraine, and not all of them have an IT profile,” the publication also notes.
It is reported that during the analysis of procurement indicators, legal entities engaged in the following types of business activities in accordance with the KVED were taken into account:
“Computer programming”; “Informatization consulting”; “Computer equipment management activities”; “Other activities in the field of information technologies and computer systems”; “Replication of sound, video recordings and software”;” Publication of computer games”; “Issue of other software”; “Data processing, posting of information on websites and related activities”.
Very close to the thirties were Bohdan Khalyapin and Oleksandr Sadovskyi from PD Technology, Oleksiy Hlukhovskyi from Matter Labs, as well as Yaroslav Azhniuk, Andriy Klen and Oleksandr Neskin from Petcube. According to the publication, according to the results of 2023, Matter Labs and PD Technology each had 700 million UAH in revenue, and Petcube – 500 million.
