Entrepreneur and Chairman of the Board of Petcube Yaroslav Azhniuk is building a new company The Fourth Law for the development of autonomy modules for robotic systems. He said this in his post on Linkedin.
Work on The Fourth Law began several months ago. The founder Yaroslav Azhniuk also assumed the position of CEO. The first product is aimed at solving one of the most urgent defense needs of Ukraine — the development of an autonomy module for FPV drones. According to Azhniuk, he has been following this direction for a year and a half, and recently held a series of meetings with about twenty teams and engineers working in this field.
“Complete autonomy means that the system does the same as it does now with a pilot, but without a pilot and faster, better, more accurately. It is also programmable. This radically changes both the tactics of using [FPV drones – ed.] and their capabilities,” Yaroslav Azhnyuk said.
At the moment, Azhnyuk is not revealing details about The Fourth Law, but he is already looking for people to join the team — in particular, engineers and drone pilots.
According to the post, the company's name refers to the three laws of robotics formulated by the American science fiction writer Isaac Asimov in the story “The Enchanted Circle”:
A robot cannot harm a person or, through its inaction, allow a person to be harmed. A robot must obey a person's orders when these orders do not conflict with the First Law. A robot must take care of its own safety as long as it does not conflict with the First and Second Laws.
We remind you that in December 2023, Yaroslav Azhniuk launched the profile website Kremlingram, where he and a team of investigators plan to study the potential danger of the application and its possible connections with the Kremlin.
