Natalya Tatarchuk became the new technical director at Activision, a publishing company and developer of video games. She succeeds Michael Vance in this position, who will now lead the engineering division. PlayUA notes that Natalya will oversee Activision's leading projects, including Call of Duty .
The woman announced her appointment on social networks.
“I'm excited to share the exciting news – I'm joining Activision as CTO! I am truly honored to join this pioneering team. I'm excited to be part of a team that continues to push the boundaries of the gaming industry!” Natalya wrote.
Before Activision, Natalya Tatarchuk worked on the Weta Tools project on Unity. Also managed the graphics department and was an engineering architect at the Bungie game development studio.
The change of SRT at Activision was preceded by another, no less loud event – the dismissal of CEO Bobby Kotyk. The company's official website notes that this happened two months after Activision's merger with Microsoft.
