The new 2024 Formula 1 season starts with the race in Bahrain on March 2. In total, 24 Grand Prix are planned.
As last year, during the season the drivers will have to take part in sprint races, of which there will again be six. The sprint will take place at stages in China, Miami, Austria, Austin, Brazil and Qatar.
Separate qualifications will be held for the Sprint and Grand Prix. If there is a sprint during the stage, the weekend will look like this:
1st day: practice and Grand Prix qualification 2nd day: sprint qualification and sprint itself 3rd day: Grand Prix
The first eight pilots will be awarded points: 1st place – 8 points, 2nd place – 7 points, 3rd place – 6 points, 4th place – 5 points, 5th place – 4 points, 6th place – 3 points, 7th place – 2 points, 8 place – 1 point.

Point system: 25 – 18 – 15 – 12 – 10 – 8 – 6 – 4 – 2 – 1. For the best lap of the race, the driver will receive +1 point if he finished in the TOP 10.
