Who will play in the qualifying playoffs for Euro 2024
12 teams that did not directly qualify for Euro 2024 will participate in the playoffs for Euro 2024. They will be selected based on performances in the 2022/23 Nations League. Nominally these will be the group winners in Leagues A, B and C, but if they have already qualified for the Euros through qualification, their place will be taken by the next team from that group.

If less than four teams from one League participate in the play-offs, the first available place is given to the team with the best Nations League rating from League D, that is, Estonia.
The remaining places are distributed among the teams based on the overall ranking of the Nations League, but the winners of the groups in Leagues A, B and C cannot be in the same play-off tournament with teams with a higher rating.

Draw procedure
The composition of the routes will be confirmed after the completion of the European qualifications on November 21, when all 12 participants in the play-off matches will be determined.
The draw will begin with the determination of the team from League B that will play in the play-offs of Path A. Since there are not enough teams in League A, a team from League B will be added, which will be determined by drawing lots among the teams that made it to the playoffs, but at the same time did not win their Nations League group (such playoff participants are Ukraine, Finland and Iceland).
Three draws will be held to determine which semi-final pair in each route will be awarded the right to play at home in the play-off final. After the completion of the relevant semi-final, the winner will play at home against the winner of the other semi-final.
For each path, two balls will be prepared representing each semi-final pair: Semi-final 1 and Semi-final 2.
The first ball drawn will determine which Path C semi-final winner will make the home final. The second ball drawn will determine the potential visitors in this match.. A similar procedure will be carried out for Path B and Path A.
