The NBA has decided on the winner of the award for the best player of the year in the clutch (last minutes of matches – approx.)
The second winner in the history of this category was Steph Curry, who defeated DeMar DeRozan of Chicago and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Chiefs scored 189 points and made 59 field goals, 32 of which were three-pointers in the final minutes of the games, but that wasn't enough to push the Golden State into the playoffs.. The Warriors finished the regular season in 10th place in the Western Conference and lost in the play-in to the Sacramento Kings.
Curry beat DeRozan by 26 points and Gilgeous-Alexander by 138 points in the voting.
