TikTok's photo-sharing app has become available on iOS and Android for users in several countries.
The free TikTok Notes application with an unusual black and green logo that does not at all resemble TikTok has already appeared in the App Store and Google Play. On iOS, it has already become one of the most popular social networking apps.
The TikTok team said it is “in the early stages of experimenting with dedicated space for photo and text content in TikTok Notes” and has so far secured the app's rollout in two countries.
“Starting today, TikTok Notes is available for download and limited testing in Australia and Canada.. We hope the TikTok community will use TikTok Notes to continue sharing their moments through photo posts. Whether you're documenting adventures, expressing creativity, or simply sharing snapshots of your day, TikTok Notes is designed for those who want to share and engage photo content,” wrote a TikTok community page on X ( Twitter).
Several official images of the program were also shown, offering insight into how it works. Here you can see that the application as a whole is similar to Instagram. In it, platform users will be able to not only publish photos, but also write captions for them. Two feeds will also be offered: “For You” and “Subscriptions”.
