Honor has introduced the X9b smartphone, which in a very unusual way combines the parameters of a typical inexpensive device and a strong middle-class device.
The heart here is not the fastest SoC Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, and there is only one memory configuration – 8/256 GB. But the screen here is clearly of a higher class: it is a 6.78-inch curved OLED panel with support for 120 Hz, 1.5K resolution, peak brightness of 1200 cd/sq.m, PWM frequency of 1920 Hz and additional drop protection, which Honor calls Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Display. And that is not all. Honor says its smartphone is the first in the industry to receive a five-star certification for drop protection from Swiss company SGC.
There is also a 108 megapixel camera, for which the manufacturer claims a three-fold lossless zoom and the ability to shoot in macro mode from a distance of 4 cm.
Special attention is paid to the battery with a capacity of 5800 mAh with 35-watt charging. And this despite the fact that the smartphone weighs 185 g and has a thickness of 8 mm! This may be the thinnest and lightest smartphone with a battery of this capacity. Among the rest, IP53 protection can be noted. For a new product in India they are asking $315.
