Gigabyte has revealed the memory capacity of the upcoming Radeon RX 7600 XT video card. There were rumors that this accelerator would receive 10 or 12 GB of video memory, but it turned out that there would be more memory – as much as 16 GB.
Two variants of the Radeon RX 7600 XT from Gigabyte appeared in the database of the Eurasian Economic Commission – Radeon RX 7600 XT Gaming OC 16GB and Radeon RX 7600 XT Gaming 16GB. The names already indicate the amount of memory.
The remaining characteristics of the Radeon RX 7600 XT are unknown. According to preliminary data, this video card will be built on a cut-down version of the Navi 32 GPU. Taking into account the fact that the Radeon RX 7600 XT will have more memory than the Radeon RX 7700 XT, the memory bus width must be less than 192 bits, otherwise the Radeon RX 7600 XT could cannibalize sales of the older model. According to rumors, the Radeon RX 7600 XT will be the last new model of the Radeon RX 7000 line – after it, video cards of the Radeon RX 8000 line will be released.
