A very rare Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution SUV is being offered at the Collecting Cars online auction. A day before the auction ends, they offer approximately $23,000 for the car.
These cars were the stars of the Paris-Dakar rally. Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution competed in rallies in the T2 group from 1985 to 2007. The model scored 12 victories, including five in a row from 2001 to 2005. In total, Pajero racers won 150 stages and earned the car a place in the Guinness Book of Records.
From 1997 to 1999, 2,693 Pajero Evolutions were produced for general sale. The cars were distinguished by wheels, an extended body kit, a massive air intake on the hood and a rear spoiler. The interior is equipped with Recaro seats with improved lateral support.
The car, released in 1997, received a 3.5-liter 280-horsepower V6 engine and a 5-speed automatic transmission. It is painted in a rare color; only 87 of these cars were produced. Mileage is 180 thousand. km.
