Cryptocurrency exchange CommEX, which acquired the Russian business of the world's largest trading platform Binance, said it has expanded the list of cryptocurrencies that users can transfer from Binance without commission.
“You can transfer XRP, SOL, TWT, LTC and DOGE assets from Binance instantly and without fees starting November 16, 2023,” the company said.
The option is already available for the ruble, bitcoin, ether, stablecoins USDT and BNB.
CommEX just recently added support for Russian rubles for deposits and withdrawals. Binance users who have a fiat balance in rubles will be able to transfer funds to CommEX without commission until January 31, 2024.
Binance decided to completely leave Russia at the end of September. The company sold its entire Russian business to CommEX, which may be backed by Kazakh businessmen.
Binance itself stated that it had stopped accepting deposits in rubles as of November 15. Withdrawal of rubles from the site is available until January 31, 2024.
