The company Meta presented two new features based on artificial intelligence for editing photos and videos on Facebook and Instagram, according to a message on the company's website. They were named Emu Video and Emu Edit.
“At this year's Meta Connect, we announced several new developments, including Emu, our first core imaging model. Emu's technology is behind a lot of our generative AI research, some image editing tools for Instagram that let you take photos and change their visual style or background, and Meta AI's Imagine feature, which lets you create photo-realistic images right in your posts.” — write in Meta.
Emu Video allows you to create a short video based on a text entry. The user enters the text, the tool generates an image based on it. The second stage is the generation of a video based on the text and the previously generated image. Thanks to Emu Edit, you can edit the image or its parts, also according to the text prompts for the AI. You can change individual elements, geometry, background, colors, etc.
In August of this year, Meta launched Code Llama, a free AI tool for writing code.
