The full premiere of Avatr 12, created by Changan in collaboration with Huawei and CATL, took place in China. The most important thing is that prices have been announced: for an advanced fastback they are asking from 301 to 401 thousand yuan (that’s 41.5-55 thousand dollars or approximately 3.7-5 million rubles).
Avatr 12 is created in the style of the Avatr 11 crossover, but has a different body shape. The trunk lid opens without a rear window, which makes the car reminiscent of the GAZ-M20 Pobeda. The creators of the car officially call it a luxury futuristic Gran Coupe.
The dimensions of the Avatr 12 are 5020 x 1999 x 1450 mm, the wheelbase is 3020 mm. The newcomer is similar in size to the Porsche Panamera. The basic version is rear-wheel drive, with a 313 hp engine. The top-end version is all-wheel drive with a 578 hp power plant. The capacity of the traction battery is 94.5 kWh, the range is 700 or 650 km, respectively.
Avatr 12 interior – created in the spirit of minimalism. In front, closer to the windshield, there is a “surrounding screen” (actually a complex of screens) with a diagonal of 35.4 inches and 4K resolution. And on the front panel, in the traditional place, there is a 15.6-inch diagonal screen.
It has already been officially announced that Avatr 12 will arrive in Russia next year. But the price will clearly be higher than 5 million rubles.
